With the upgrading of equipment and technology, the quality of our RTO honeycomb ceramics is getting better and better, and the performance is getting more and more stable. We have more and more customers from the Middle East in recent years. What I want to share today is the order from Middle Eastern customer: cordierite honeycomb ceramics.
RTO thermal storage combustion equipment heats the exhaust gas to a high temperature (usually above 750°C) to completely oxidize and decompose harmful substances in the exhaust gas into CO₂ and H₂O. Honeycomb ceramic blocks can recover the heat in the exhaust gas and use it to preheat the subsequent exhaust gas, thereby greatly reducing energy consumption. Honeycomb ceramic blocks heat exchange method can make the thermal efficiency of RTO reach more than 90%.
Honeycomb ceramic blocks are mainly used in the following working conditions:metallurgical industry,garbage inc,exhaust gas treatmentinerator,chemical and petroleum industries,glass Kiln,gas turbines and power industry boilers,ethylene cracking furnace,solar thermal systems etc.
Ceramic honeycomb heat storage body is mainly used as a heat exchange material in high-temperature industrial kilns. Its main functions are to reduce exhaust gas heat loss, improve fuel utilization, increase theoretical combustion temperature, improve furnace heat exchange conditions and reduce harmful gas emissions.
The main materials of honeycomb ceramic heat storage bodies include cordierite, mullite, aluminum porcelain, high alumina, and corundum. The selection of materials is mainly determined by the specific working conditions. Generally, mullite and cordierite are more commonly used in RTO equipment.
